FMN Pay Later · Customer Finance

Get paid upfront.
Let your clients pay later.

Offer Afterpay and Zip Pay financing straight from your quotes. You get paid the full amount or deposit upfront — your client spreads the cost over time. Built into FMN Pro and Company plans.

Two tiers of customer finance

Afterpay

Quotes under $4,000

Your client pays in 4 fortnightly instalments. You get the full amount upfront.

  • Finances the full quote amount
  • 4 equal fortnightly instalments
  • You're paid upfront — no waiting
  • Black Afterpay button on the quote & client portal

Zip Pay

Quotes $4,000 – $50,000

Zip Pay finances the deposit. The remaining balance is paid via your normal progress payments.

  • Finances the deposit only
  • 6, 12 or 24-month repayment terms
  • Balance paid through progress payments
  • Fortnightly repayment preview shown to the client

How it works

1

Finalise your quote

When you finalise an estimate in FMN, toggle customer finance on. The right provider is chosen automatically based on the quote total.

2

Client checks out via the portal

Your client pays through the branded client portal with Afterpay (under $4k) or Zip Pay ($4k–$50k deposit). Provider-specific disclaimers are shown automatically.

3

You get paid upfront

Afterpay pays you the full amount; Zip Pay pays the deposit. The remaining balance on larger jobs flows through your normal progress payments.

Finance is capped at $20,000 per transaction with a clear availability note. Quotes over $50,000 fall back to your standard deposit and progress payment schedule. Correct legal disclaimers are always shown for the active provider.

Frequently asked questions

Do I get paid upfront?

Yes. With Afterpay (quotes under $4,000) you receive the full amount when your client checks out. With Zip Pay (quotes $4,000–$50,000) you receive the financed deposit upfront, and the remaining balance is paid through your normal progress payment schedule.

Which plans include customer finance?

Customer finance (Afterpay and Zip Pay) is available on FMN Pro and the Company plans. It can be toggled on per quote when you finalise and send.

What happens on quotes over $50,000?

The finance option is greyed out with an availability note for quotes over $50,000. Your client pays via your standard deposit and progress payment schedule instead.

Does my client need an Afterpay or Zip account?

Your client checks out through Afterpay or Zip Pay's secure flow. If they don't already have an account, they can set one up during checkout — no separate sign-up is required on your end.

Are the legal disclaimers included?

Yes. FMN automatically displays the correct provider-specific disclaimers (Afterpay or Zip Pay) on both the quote finalisation screen and inside the client portal.
