Licensed electricians charge $110–$165/hr depending on state. Sydney and Melbourne are at the higher end. Most also charge a call-out fee of $90–$150 on top.
Call-out fees cover travel, loading the van, and the first 30–45 minutes before billable work begins. It's standard industry practice across all licensed trades.
All quoted rates should be confirmed as ex-GST or inc-GST. Most trade quotes are presented ex-GST with GST added at the bottom of the document.
